Working in the San Francisco Bay area since 1999, I strive to bring balance, innovation and unique perspective to hair, style, fashion, and life in general. 
Finding everyday inspirations in my clients, I count natural, sun-kissed, platinum blondes and dimensional color among my specialty. Along with cut and color services, I offer my clients formal and bridal styling in salon or on-location.
I started my 28 year career in Los Angeles. There, as a member of the artistic team for Carlton Hair International, I traveled around the US and Japan. While exploring, I've tried my hand in Film (American Film Institute), Fashion Shows (Cynthia Vincent, Peter Cohen, Eduardo Lucero), Television (E! Fashion Emergency), Theater, Video and Advertising.  Some of my work was featured in "Hispanic Magazine", "Modern Bride" and "Modern Salon."  Now you can find me at my new exclusive studio Hair by Elena at Salon Village (1538 Pacific Ave, Ste 105 in San Francisco) and on Thursdays at Tamer Mickel Salon (264 Lorton Ave. in Burlingame).
